Behind
work.
Painting and engraving are two ways of exploring the same universe: faces, symbols and geometries, crossed by light and shadow. Here the work takes shape, between materials, gestures and images that return.

Biography
Sabrina Costa (Thiene, 1973) is an Italian visual artist. Her research explores the human figure, often through the female face, relating presence, identity and transformation.
After studying economics, in 2008 he began his artistic career at the Piccola Scuola d’Arte in Olivia Pegoraro, followed by Valeria Bertesina and Martina Dalla Stella. At the same time, he devoted himself to architecture and interior design, earning the title of Interior Designer in 2012. The experience gained in this area contributes to his sensitivity to the construction of space, geometries and compositional balances, which gradually merge into the language of his works.
In his work, the personal and symbolic dimensions are intertwined. Shapes, geometries and signs cross or modify the figure, constructing suspended images and introducing additional levels of reading.
Alongside painting, engraving is a significant part of his research, developed through experimentation with different techniques and a particular focus on the subject, the trace and the construction of the image.
He has participated in exhibitions and exhibitions dedicated to graphic and contemporary art in Italy and abroad, including Chrono Graphica in Rome, Biennale Internazionale Miniature in Vancouver, Miniprint Kazanlak and Sofia (Bulgaria), E’ Carta in Milan, Biennale Internazionale per l’Incisione in Acqui Terme, Asylium in Rome and Triennale Internazionale Incisione Contemporanea in Barcelona.
